Houston Exponential, announced today the appointment of Clemmie Pierce Martin as the Dir. Of Marketing and Strategy.

“The opportunity to serve as the Director of Marketing and Strategy at Houston Exponential is hugely exciting to me. I grew up in Houston, so this city holds a very special place in my heart and I have a real passion for it and its people.

“Houston Exponential sees the potential in Houston and our start-up ecosystem that I’ve always felt was underserved and underrepresented nationally. I couldn’t be more excited to join a team that is working tirelessly to make sure that for founders and startups anywhere in the world Houston is not just a choice but rather the clear choice of venue.

“I’m looking forward to jumping right into exploring ways Houston Exponential can expand our reach and impact across the city of Houston and beyond,” shares Clemmie Pierce Martin.

The Director of Marketing and Strategy supports HX initiatives through project management, cross-functional collaboration, and crafting high-level marketing communications and end-to-end campaign design. The Director of Marketing and Strategy is an active participant in crafting the roadmap as well as key partnerships that position HX to be successful. They will also take on high priority ad hoc special projects to support operations as well as being a key liaison with other departments within the company

Prior to joining Houston Exponential, Clemmie was an early employee at local Houston-based startups, Goodfair and Mesa Cloud — helping to build core infrastructure across Partnerships, Customer Success, and Marketing from the ground up.

“We’re delighted to be welcoming Clemmie to the HX family. Her first-hand knowledge of launching and scaling startups in Houston is an invaluable asset to the organization. Her insights and experiences as an early-stage startup operator couldn’t be more fitting for our HX’s mission to lower the barrier of entry for early-stage startups in the city,” shares Executive Director, Serafina Lalany.
