Virtual Roundtable: Equity and Inclusion in Times of COVID-19
Covid-19 has had a devastating effect on our communities and our businesses, and has also exposed the deep inequities across our society. Marginalized people (i.e., people of color, disabled, immigrant, hourly workers and more) have been disproportionately affected by this disease and the resulting impacts from it, from disparate health outcomes in treatment and detection, to an increase an anti-Asian bias incidents. It is a critical time for leaders of all backgrounds, many of whom are struggling with how to best support their communities and employees.
On Friday, April 10th, this panel of experts will discuss how leaders can center equity and inclusion in their response to Covid-19. During the webinar they’ll explore:
- Our responsibility for examining the building blocks of our organizations — including who they are/aren’t designed for;
- What diversity and equity considerations should leaders be thinking about now, and in the near-term;
- How we can start a dialogue about anti-Asian bias and racism, and what we can do to combat it; and
- How can we seed long-lasting changes?
You may submit questions to the panelists in advance when registering for the event.
The event will provide live transcriptions.
