Innovation Challenge – The Final Pitch
About this Event
The Collective Foundation – The Collective’s charitable arm – and Crisis UK have been working together to run the Ending Homelessness Challenge. The challenge is a 2-month innovation programme to create new initiatives to prevent homelessness for those who may be at risk of it due to COVID-19, as well as helping rough sleepers move into long-term accommodation after COVID-19.
Over the last 6 weeks, multidisciplinary teams from 74 countries have collaborated to develop new and innovative ideas. The programme has provided these teams of social innovators with research, coaching and training opportunities to guide their ideas and develop their understanding of homelessness in the UK.
The teams are currently in the final stages and preparing to pitch their ideas, with the winning idea going on to receive continued support from The Collective Foundation and Crisis. This ongoing support will allow them to bring their idea to life, transforming it into a tangible solution for the homeless community within the UK.
The final pitch event is taking place on Thursday, 2nd July and we’d love for you to be in attendance.
This pitch event is the culmination of some incredible, voluntary and global work – with teams juggling the complexities of navigating a global pandemic, while also taking on this project in an attempt to improve the lives of one of the most vulnerable communities, the homeless. We’re incredibly excited for the teams to have an audience and a platform to present their ideas and passion – we hope you are too.
