COVID-19 has imposed immense challenges to the world and will have significant implications moving forward.
It is throughout these times of crisis that we see waves of innovation and creativity reshape the way people interact and how the world operates.
You are invited to join this one off Virtual Innovation Conference, where you will have the opportunity to hear from and speak to leading professionals across academia, hi-tech and venture finance. These individuals have read the threats created by COVID-19 through the unique lenses of creativity, and explain how they have used technology to build new tools to tackle them.
Each of the speakers will present their work, and the event will conclude with a Q&A. If you have a question you would already like to ask, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Oren Gavriely is the co-founder and CEO at NanoScent, the world’s ecosystem for scent recognition, enabling devices to detect scents. Prior to that, Oren founded BeatMed.com. Oren managed OHK Medical Devices, Inc. establishing HemaClear as the gold standard of care in orthopedic surgery. He also co-founded ETVIEW (Sold to Ambu), a device company developing airway management solutions, and helped found MooNa: Space for Change, a culturally rooted social venture. Oren is a prolific inventor credited with five medical device technologies and vast experience with healthcare professionals. He received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.
Dr. Kira Radinsky is the chairwoman and CTO of Diagnostic Robotics, where the most advanced technologies in the field of artificial intelligence are harnessed to make healthcare better, cheaper, and more widely available.In the past, she co-founded SalesPredict, acquired by eBay in 2016, and served as eBay director of data science and IL chief scientist. One of the up-and-coming voices in the data science community, she is pioneering the field of medical data mining. In 2013, she was named to the MIT Technology Review’s 35 Young Innovators Under 35, in 2015 as Forbes 30 under 30 rising stars in enterprise technology, and in 2016 selected as “woman of the year” by Globes. She is a frequent presenter at global tech events, including TEDx, Wired, Strata Data Science, Techcrunch and academic conferences, and she publishes in the Harvard Business Review.
Yael Vizel, co-founder and CEO at Zeekit, an AI-AR/VR company which revolutionizes the fashion e-commerce experience by creating the future of virtual fitting room experiences for brands. Zeekit technology is adopted by leading brands and retailers worldwide as ASOS, Macy’s, Tommy Hilfiger and more. Yael is an electrical engineer and a major at the Israeli Air Force who constantly participate and lead mentoring sessions and programs which encourage women to excel in technology, entrepreneurship and leadership.
Prof. Michael Bronstein is part of the Imperial College Department of Computing. He has served as a professor at USI Lugano, Switzerland and held visiting positions at Stanford, Harvard, MIT, TUM, and Tel Aviv University. Michael received his PhD with distinction from the Technion in 2007. Michael has authored over 150 papers, and holds over 30 granted patents. In addition to academic work, Michael’s industrial experience includes technological leadership in multiple startup companies, including Novafora, Videocites, and Invision (acquired by Intel in 2012), and Fabula AI (acquired by Twitter in 2019). Following the acquisition of Fabula, he joined Twitter as Head of Graph Learning Research. He previously served as Principal Engineer at Intel Perceptual Computing (2012-2019) and was one of the key developers of the Intel RealSense 3D camera technology.
Nimrod Cohen is a Managing Partner of TAU Ventures, Tel Aviv University Investment Vehicle. A serial entrepreneur and investor. Previously partner at Plus Ventures, with more than 50 investments in portfolio companies over the past five years, such as Bring, YOTPO, WSC Sports, Cimagine, HouseParty and more. Experienced lecturer , mentor and judge, participating in numbers startups programs, events and organisations around the world.
