The Artemis Fund is a venture capital fund that invests in early stage technology companies led by women across the United States. Women led companies receive merely 2.8% of venture capital funds annually and women make up only 11% of partners at venture capital funds. However, data shows that diverse teams outperform and deliver outsized returns. The Artemis Fund is helping investors capitalize on the proven performance of diversity and simply invest better.

SPEAKERS
Stephanie Campbell
Stephanie is the Managing Director of the Houston Angel Network, one of the most active angel networks in the country. She is also the Chair of Houston Exponential’s Early Stage Investment Committee. She holds an MBA from Rice University.
Leslie Goldman
Leslie practiced as a corporate lawyer for over 25 years, with the last 10 as General Counsel of a life sciences company. She then moved to C-suite recruiting in order to try to change the gender dynamics at the top of organizations. An active angel investor, Leslie has invested in over 45 companies and is a Limited Partner in 11 VC funds. She serves on the board of various companies and non-profit organizations and is actively involved with board governance through NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors).
