Neda Amidi | Partner and Global Head of HealthNeda Amidi serves as a Partner and Global Head of Health at Plug and Play. She leads investments in digital health and biotech startup companies. She is responsible for global partnerships with corporations including Johnson & Johnson, Cleveland Clinic, Sanofi, Roche, and others.
Prior to Plug and Play, Neda worked at Zamzee, a wearable technology startup for teens and Zong, a mobile payment startup which was acquired by PayPal for $240 million.
Milad Malek | Associate, Plug and Play VenturesOriginally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Milad attended Stanford University where he earned his degree in Physics and conducted research in experimental particle physics and cosmology. Shortly after he joined Plug and Play on the Ventures team where he has spent over 2 years working with startups and major energy enterprises. Today he is an Associate leading the Ventures efforts in the Energy Vertical.
Payal Patel | Director, Plug and Play HoustonPayal Patel is a Director for Plug and Play and is based in Houston, Texas. She is responsible for generating and managing relationships with corporate partners as well as building operations for one of Plug and Play’s newest markets, Houston.
Payal began her career as a management consultant for restructuring firm Alvarez & Marsal and previously worked at consumer goods company Unilever and executive search firm Spencer Stuart. Most recently, Payal ran the corporate business development function for Station, a startup incubator in Houston.
Payal has degrees in finance and accounting from Texas A&M University and an MBA from London Business School. She is a member of the Junior League of Houston and is President of the London Business School alumni club in Houston. In her spare time, Payal enjoys Crossfit, reading, and traveling.
