GCxN Clean Tech Start-up Pitch Competition
Hosted by Station Houston
The Shell GameChanger AcceleratorTM Powered by NREL, GCxN, is a collaboration between Shell and the National Renewable Energy Lab to identify and advance the next generation of transformative energy technologies. GCxN addresses market gaps by providing cleantech start-ups with technical and business development support to move their technologies from early stage prototypes to commercially viable energy solutions.
Please join us for this special session in which start-up company finalists will pitch their ideas to Shell and NREL in front of a live audience. Four companies will ultimately be selected to form the second cohort of the GCxN accelerator, with each eligible to receive up to $250,000 of funding to test and mature their technologies. This cohort’s topics are Fast Charging and Grid Integration.
In addition to the pitch competition, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner will sit on a panel with Shell’s VP of Energy Transition Jason Klein and Station Houston CEO Gaby Rowe to discuss how to position Houston as a hub for innovation, tech start-ups and clean energy solutions.
When: Tuesday, July 16, 2019, 4:00PM-8:00PM with an optional networking reception at 3:00PM
Where: Station Houston, 1301 Fannin St #2440, Houston, TX 77002
