It’s time for our next Design Dialogue. In this session, our focus would be on data and its importance in the design process.
Design thinking when combined with decision science results in an infusion of empathy with engineering. This not only ensures a practical and creative resolution of problems but puts the customer at the center of applications and at the starting point to develop new products and solutions.
Analytics could be used in various phases of design thinking, for example:
-Primary research / Field research: Involves the collection of data that does not already exist, eg: Designing and interpreting questionnaires.
-Secondary research / Desk research: the collation and/or synthesis of existing research, eg: research subjects or experiments.
-Prototyping: measuring and tweaking the usability and performance of a prototype.
Join us in this dialogue to discuss how blending analytics into design thinking is vital in creating a vital human-centered design process!
